THE UAC is an NGO (NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION) with Euro-Mediterranean vocation implanted in Provence. Recognized “undertaken by social utility” and is approved by the State as a popular educational and youth association and association for the environmental protection. She benefits from the national label Permanent Center of Initiatives for the Environment (CPIE).
The APARE-CME union proposes a wide range of activities connected to the valuation of heritage and environmental protection:
• International voluntary service with volunteers in workcamps on the restoration of the patrimony, campus focused on the ground and soil in the service of the local communities, civic service or European voluntary service.
• Workshops for every public and discovery of the Mediterranean landscape.
• Projects of initiation, educational or formation for every public on numerous themes: biodiversity, climate change, prevention of natural risks, protection of dry stone heritage, etc.
• Projects of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in the domains of sustainable development, ecocitizenship, protection of the heritage.

E.R.I.C.A was born in 1996 following a tragic flood that hit Southern Piedmont two years earlier, with the aim of dealing with the environment, both in terms of communication and technical support to public bodies and private bodies.
The main topics we work on are waste management, risk prevention, the water cycle, energy, organic agriculture and environmental sustainability.
In more than twenty years of activity we have worked in over 2,000 between Municipalities, Provinces, Regions, Consortia and companies throughout Italy, Europe and in different parts of the world, designing environmental services, carrying out feasibility studies, creating communication campaigns, paths training, organizing environmental education activities and sustainable events.
Today E.R.I.C.A. it is the leader of environmental communication in Italy and is strengthening its collaboration with entities and companies operating in many states of the European Union in the rest of the world, for example in North Africa and the Middle East.

Association for the Island Development “Brač”
Association for the Island Development “Brač” was founded with the aim of preserving and promoting cultural & natural heritage, and education of local residents, especially youth, on how to sustainably use the potentials of the island. The Association focuses its activities on the discovery, restoration, public presentation and sustainable management of the cultural and natural heritage of the island. The most important goal of the Association is to improve the living conditions on the island, to the benefit of all its inhabitants, especially the young.

Pučišća Elementary School
Pučišća Elementary School implements an eight-year general education program for students from 6 to 14 years. The school provides quality education to its students, applying the creative approach to teaching, with the predominant project and research forms of teaching and extracurricular work. Teachers are regularly trained in the implementation of the most effective teaching methods and strategies, in order to enable students to be completely equal in competition with their peers in Croatia and Europe. That is why the school has been establishing international cooperation with partner institutions across Europe for more than ten years. In co-operation and exchange of best practice with schools in Croatia and abroad, teaching staff are in direct contact with the most up-to-date pedagogical theories. The acquired knowledge is applied in everyday teaching, on contents that are compatible with the place and time in which students live.

ARGYROUPOLIS CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION (ACEE)

Argyroupolis Center for Environmental Education (ACEE), is a public institution incorporated in the formal educational system of the Ministry of Education of Greece. It specializes in Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development through a variety of actions. As regards its infrastructure ACEE is actually a school type building with more than 14 different, furnished and functional rooms that host: teaching (3), science laboratories (2), multi-purpose /seminar room, library, administration (2), teacher office, exhibition room, kitchen, warehouse etc. An educational garden with Mediterranean plants was created since the first years of ACEE establishment in 1995.
The main subjects of the educational and in-service training programmes include: Education for Sustainable Development, Energy, Climate Change, Forest Fires, Air-pollution, Traffic associated problems in the city, Mediterranean Plants and Urban green spaces, Sub-Urban Forests, Pollination in Mediterranean Type Ecosystems, Freshwater-Rivers, Marine ecosystems etc.
Main aim of all our activities is to promote active citizenship of pupils, students and adults towards sustainable development.

The Mediterranean Centre of Environment is an NGO established in 1992 to promote human activities that value the environment and culture in different regions of the Mediterranean and the Balkans.
To meet this challenge, the MCE develops transnational partnerships and projects to assist local sustainable development and to design non formal learning programs to prepare young people and professionals to work towards sustainable development.
